Subject line, sent live from the scene, was said by the guy in the hat. Paraphrasing, his context was that for a period after reading Watchmen, other superdude books seemed sadly lacking in comparison.

Talking Watchmen at Meltdown

I knew this, but it's good to see it confirmed. Photos taken from the BB are best when literally-in-your-face close. I was sitting in the third row of a packed house for this and the other pictures. Not so good.

Meltdown is my fave comics shop in LA, hosting wonderful events I rarely have time to actually attend. Moved heck & high water to make this panel talk, and what a hoot it was,  complete with a bar gathering with a friend after! The event was recorded and filmed for podcast at Comics On Comics, where you be able to listen to the whole thing, which is great because I didn't take notes as I just wanted to enjoy the thing and not deal with anything that seemed like work. 

Gotta figure out a way to streamline these types of BB entries. I'm still working on the WonderCon. Stuff. I'll come up with something...
