From earlier today, when I was out and about in town, and happened upon a multi-cultural cluster of rocket motorcycle enthusiasts gathered in a parking lot on La Brea. Noticed them when I first went into the store, but didn't pick up that one of them was a woman until I came back out. I have never seen a female rocket motorcyclist before, and that would have been the end of it, but just as I got to my car she put on her cute girly helmet. Then I was all wait let me get the camera!! The second shot is where I said "okay, smile!" and she started laughing. Including a shot of the logo on the back of their jackets. Thanks, Wendy! (For the record, I *think* she said her name is Wendy. Kinda hard to make out what she was saying through all that helmet.)
Today's activities also involved hitting up the House of Mystery, which as you recall may or may not be involved in the upcoming Ellroy/Whitaker/Keanu flick. Earlier this week I noticed much activity on the lot revealing even more of the property. Yay! I have no idea if the latest changes are related to the movie, but I got new picts and will upload them in a few days. There are surprising things in them (to me). This house has been an obsession of mine for a few years. I'm so happy for whatever the hell is going on there that has resulted in the corner opening up.
