Blog's on autopilot for most of this month while I'm busy elsewhere,
giving me an opportunity to clear out posts that have been held hostage
in the drafts bin for one reason or another. This week's bunch of
posts were set to go up during the holiday week but got bumped back.

I found this on the internet(s) recently. It's the cover for the UK version of Queen City Jazz, and looks to have come out at around the same time the US version first did. I think it's light years better than the cover for the US version. Look at the wings! They have microchip thingies on them! So nicely balanced overall, and I particularly love how the use of black/shade not only makes the shiny bee pop, but implies a bit of threat looming in the background. Lovely work.
