Blog's on autopilot for most of this month while I'm busy elsewhere, giving me an opportunity to clear out posts that have been held hostage in the drafts bin for one reason or another. This one was supposed to go up in AUGUST.

I've raved about poet & geek Douglas Kearney in the past, and if my search thing were working properly I'd give links. He did the awesome Spider-Man story in Dark Matter II, and his first collection Fear, some, was released last year by Red Hen Press.
Now someone has put one of his performances on YouTube. Behold how mighty is Douglas in live performance! If you're wondering why he's flipping the book, get the book and you'll understand.
(Douglas is another on the Vast List Of People Who Are Smarter Than Me. He spotted that Jazz' fighting style in the movie was capoeira.)
