This guy is a New To Me discovery, revealed over the weekend while roaming through BBC Radio dramas looking for something to listen to while I sprawled on the couch preparing myself to maybe get up and clean the house, possibly.
His one man show, Why I Don't Hate White People, is a phenomenal work of hilarious, heartfelt Fury, anchored with crystal details like the wheelbarrow thing, the hair thing, the I Don't See Legs thing. Can I say how completely jealous I am of the latter?! And that I'm Completely And Totally Stealing It when needed in live conversation with Those Who Mean Well? His response is Light Years better than my best in that same situation.
I don't want to say too much. You have to listen to it for yourself. Click fast, because stuff on The Wire stays up only for about a week before vanishing. (Dramas on The Wire don't repeat as often as, say Fear on Four, which apparently is on permanent repeat. I like the FoF man in black as much as anybody, but dude, how many times do you need to run the parson story, the snowbound truck story, or the adaptation of Duel? Not as many as you think, o BBC Radio overlords..)

So, my plan is to hunt down everything he has done that I can get my hands on. Some of this Hunting will have to wait until I have free money to sling around, but I'm gonna go ahead and start the shopping list now so I'm prepared to throw down when the time comes....which might not be until next year cuz I'm that broke, but that's okay. Call me Job.
