Didi Did It!

On nifty thing about the new version of the computer is that it has a feature which finds stuff you knew is on the hard drive, but you couldn't figure out exactly where because you forgot where you filed it. This is a collage my buddy Didi made from pictures of the first ever Official Reading I was part of. The other reader is Douglas Kearney, who despite being Fabulous, still does not have a web site as far as I can tell. I LOVE this collage. It is fabbo, and I am ever so pleased to have found it again.

Here's a tip to anyone who reads with Douglas. Do not, under ANY circumstances, go on after him. EVER. Always go on BEFORE him. If you don't, then the glazed look in the eyes of the audience who were flung back to earth when it was your turn will haunt you for the rest of your life.

I also found several other interesting things I had no idea were on the hard drive thanks to this new feature, among them a series of emails from a breakup that happened five years ago. If viewing these screeds as  Source Material is wrong, then I don't want to be right.

wow -- that's an awesome collage and a nice silver lining to the computer hiccoughs... btw, if I were you, I'd blame the bookseller for letting Doug go first ... bad bookseller! no cookie! ;)
Yeah, a silver lining that's going to have me hip deep in Ramen for the next month. I SHOULD blame the bookseller!! ;) But I can't because nobody knew that the man was a featured performer at the National Slam Championships until AFTER it was over and we all picked our jaws up off the floor. Did you know he's writing an opera?
